Hasland Community FC
Established in 2007, Hasland Community Football Club was formed by a group of volunteers looking to create a club following a core set of values, rules and regulations - whilst also offering a safe, enjoyable environment for young people, of all abilities, to play football.
The club was formed with just one Under 15s team playing in the Rowsley & District Youth Football League's second division.
Before the first game of the season, the club would have been happy to have won just one game during the whole year. Finishing the campaign as league champions, with promotion to Division One, was beyond our wildest dreams.
With this experience under our belts, we agreed on an expansion plan to grow and develop Hasland Community FC. This marked the start of what has been a remarkable journey - which has seen the club go from just one team, to now having over 15 teams at all age groups, playing across a wide range of different leagues.
Managed by a committee of dedicated and experienced volunteers, who are supported by a growing team of dedicated managers and coaches, the club welcomes players of all ages and abilities. All our people are fully DBS (CRB) checked, FA qualified and fully committed to providing an environment in which children and adults can develop their skills, build relationships, developing their teamwork skills and enjoy playing the beautiful game.
In recent years the club is proud to have become an official partner of the Chesterfield Football Club Community Trust, and has also achieved FA Charter Standard Community Club status - which acknowledges the most advanced level of club development and football provision.
